HOW DOES IT WORK?
Gather up your empty The Body Shop plastic plastic and aluminium packaging at home. Just make sure it is as empty, clean and dry as possible.
Bring them into store and pop them in one of our Return, Recycle, Repeat bins.
We’ll make sure they are safely processed and recycled. Plastic will be recycled to re-usable plastic granules whilst aluminum will be sent to smelters/refiners and collectors/aggregators. This is being done through our service partner Enviroserve in assistance with Al Arfaj Group.
What can I recycle in store?
Bring back The Body Shop plastic and aluminium packaging as long as it is empty, clean, dry and not hazardous. Perhaps you can even collect packaging from your friends too!
Unfortunately,we can't accept any empty packaging that's classed as hazardous or flammable, such as perfume bottles, as well as accessories.
Where does my empty packaging go?
Enviroserve Kuwait is the first local recycling facility of it's kind. With the proud support of the Kuwaiti National Fund, the company started with an initial focus on electronic waste recycling, and today evolved its waste management solutions to cover many other solid waste streams and aim to help individuals and enterprises alike in decreasing their waste footprint.
Our founder, Anita Roddick, initiated our first recycling scheme Bring Back Our Bottles in 1993. Then, in 2019, we launched our Return, Recycle, Repeat scheme in five countries. In 2021, we started a refil revolution with refill stations across 500 stores globally. An now, our Return, Recycle, Repeat scheme is back.
